The Balfour Beatty | McCarthy joint venture held a Pre-bid Webinar on October 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the following scopes for DP 4: 03A Formwork, 03B Place & Finish, 03C Reinforcing Tying/Installation, 03D Turnkey Concrete, 03E Concrete Pumping, 03F Structural Excavation and Backfill, and 33A Foundation Drainage System.

Killeen / Fort Hood Small Business Outreach Event
On April 8 2010, Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team held a Small Business Outreach event in Killeen / Fort Hood area to reach out and network with the local small business community, agencies and associations and create subcontracting opportunities with our team on the Fort Hood Replacement Hospital project. The event drew over 300 participants from the local business community and created a great opportunity for the Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team to strengthen our knowledge of the small business community capabilities as well as expand our relationships with local businesses.
Dallas / Fort Worth Small Business Outreach Event
On March 3, 2010, Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team held a Small Business Outreach event in Dallas / Fort Worth area to reach out and network with the Metroplex small business community, agencies and associations and create subcontracting opportunities with our team on the Fort Hood Replacement Hospital project. The event drew over 150 participants from the local business community and created a great opportunity for the Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team to strengthen our knowledge of the small business community capabilities as well as expand our relationships with local businesses.
Fort Hood Region Government Vendor Conference & Exhibition
On February 2-3, 2010, Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team participated in the Fort Hood Region Government Vendor Conference & Exhibition designed for larger corporations and government entities to platform their vast small business, woman and minority-owned business programs. The expo provided a great opportunity for the Balfour Beatty | McCarthy team to interconnect and build future relationships with small businesses in the greater Central Texas and Fort Hood region.

The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. CCR collects, validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency acquisition missions.
Majority of the small business designations are completed through self-certification, which allows for easy and quick registration with SBA.
Register with our joint venture team. We will contact registered firms with more detailed information regarding contracting opportunities. Firms already pre-qualified by our firms do not have to repeat pre-qualification.
